Travel Physical Therapist- Washington State
American Consultants has several contracts located in Washington state for a travel PT. Both In-patient and Out-patient opportunities.
Overview :
We are seeking a skilled and flexible Travel Physical Therapist to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality rehabilitative care to patients in a variety of clinical settings while working on short-term contracts across different locations. The ideal candidate is adaptable, compassionate, and motivated to support patients in improving mobility, restoring function, and enhancing quality of life.
Key Responsibilities :
Evaluate and assess patients’ physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans.Provide hands-on therapy, therapeutic exercises, and education to help patients achieve functional goals.Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.Document patient progress, treatment adjustments, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.Travel to various healthcare facilities (hospitals, outpatient clinics, skilled nursing facilities, home health, etc.) as assigned.Adapt to new environments, teams, and patient populations quickly and effectively.Educate patients and families on therapy techniques, home exercises, and preventive strategies.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices and innovations in physical therapy.Qualifications :
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master’s in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.Current and valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) in physical therapy.Prior clinical experience preferred; new graduates may be considered.Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and adapt to diverse healthcare settings.Willingness and ability to travel and commit to temporary assignments.Benefits (may include) :
