Local travelers must live more than 30 miles from the facility.
Experience in a mixed unit with high acuity is required.
Rapid Response team experience and total joints experience are required.
Experience with 1 : 6 patient ratios is mandatory.
Charting experience in Meditech is preferred.
Description :
The role requires a registered nurse to work in a mixed unit focused on medical-surgical and telemetry patients.
The nurse will be responsible for patient care in a high-acuity environment.
The nurse must be available to work five mandatory shifts for clinical orientation during the first week.
Floating within the scope of practice is required.
The nurse will be part of a team that includes various interdisciplinary support staff.
The position includes caring for adult and geriatric patient populations.
The nurse will manage various patient conditions, including those requiring cardiac telemetry monitoring.
Chemotherapy administration and management of dysrhythmias are essential skills for this role.
Experience in total joint replacements and use of cardiac drips without titration is crucial.
Candidates should be prepared to work during holidays as specified.
This position may involve exposure to COVID-19 positive patients.
