Job descriptionOperate manual and automated welding units and equipment by depositing metal from electrode to work piece and joins edges of work piece. Repair improperly welded pieces and fill holes. Position and clamp work pieces together or assemble. Interpret of mechanical drawings, including weld requirement symbols Knowledge of wire and filler materials applications for various steel alloys, aluminum, and some exotic materials Working knowledge of fixture and weld set up parameters (amps, volts, etc.) Conventional and precision measuring instruments Process inspection, certification, and documentation Safety and Housekeeping Ability to follow Directions Adaptability Arm-Hand Steadiness Attention to Detail Cooperation Control Precision Customer Service Dependability Interpersonal Skills to interact with all Team Members. Manual Dexterity Operation and Control Problem Sensitivity Time Management. Verbal and Written Communication skills High School diploma or equivalent. One to three years of experience desired in a manufacturing environment. One-year experience in various forms of welding preferred. Any equivalent combination of education and experience determined to be acceptable by management. As a member of the Quality Management System, quality procedures, requirements, work instructions, and other required documentation must be followed. Team members are responsible to be aware of the company's quality policy and quality objectives in order to support the continuous improvement projects and contribute to the overall mission of the organization.

POSITION SUMMARY :
- The Welder is responsible for various types of welding preparation, welding processes, and weld finishing operations to manufacture product to customer drawings, specifications, or other forms of instruction.
