Location : Columbia, MD (Onsite Monday–Thursday, Remote Fridays)
Pay Rate : $38–$40 / hour + Overtime (1.5x)

Position Overview
The Order Fulfillment Specialist / Logistics Specialist plays a key role in coordinating the end-to-end order management and export logistics process for a high-volume operation. This position ensures timely and accurate order processing, product availability, shipment coordination, and invoicing within SAP. The ideal candidate will have strong logistics and export experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments to support smooth order fulfillment and delivery.
This position requires prior experience with SAP —including order entry, inventory checks, report generation, invoicing, and credit checks. Freight forwarding and export coordination experience are also highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full order lifecycle from purchase order receipt to shipment and invoicing.
- Enter and process customer orders, check inventory levels, and update order statuses in SAP .
- Coordinate logistics and export activities with freight forwarders and third-party partners.
- Generate and validate export documentation, ensuring compliance with international shipping requirements and Incoterms.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and Logistics) to ensure on-time, accurate order fulfillment.
- Investigate and resolve SAP-related issues, such as order errors, data inconsistencies, or material master data issues.
- Conduct credit checks and prepare invoices while maintaining financial and audit compliance.
- Manage intercompany purchasing and goods movement between plants and third-party locations.
- Maintain high standards of data accuracy and document control for audit and ISO compliance.
- Provide backup support to other team members to ensure continuity in customer support operations.
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience in order management, logistics, or supply chain operations , with a focus on exports.Hands-on SAP experience required , including order entry, inventory management, reporting, invoicing, and credit processing.Strong knowledge of international logistics processes and documentation.Familiarity with freight forwarding and export coordination.Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.Experience in manufacturing or industrial product delivery environments.Knowledge of SAP SD / OTC (Sales and Distribution / Order-to-Cash) processes.Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements related to exports.Highlights
