Job descriptionCompletion of a Pennsylvania state approved Certified Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician educational training program. At least three months of experience in a clinical setting delivering direct patient care. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Current eligibility for certification as a nurse aide in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. A fundamental understanding of personal computers and familiarity with the Windows operating system.
Summary
In accordance with established standards, provides basic nursing care and assists in more complex care to patients under the direction of a licensed nurse.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Completion of at least one of the following :
Current enrollment or completion of a professional or practical nursing program or other health-related educational program focused on the delivery of direct patient care with at least three months of experience in an educational clinical setting delivering direct patient care.
