Senior Mechanical Engineer

A company is looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer for a remote, contract opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate input and requirements from the Engineering and Project team to produce mechanical design solutions

Make 3D models of structures, systems, and components, and conduct detailed mechanical analysis

Create engineering drawings and develop technical documentation while coordinating vendor activities

Required Qualifications

B.S. in Mechanical or related discipline with 6+ years of relevant experience, or M.S. with 3+ years of experience

Engineer in training (EIT) or licensed PE desired

Recent experience with mechanical analysis software, preferably ANSYS

Proficiency in CAD software, preferably Solidworks

Experience working under a Quality Program, such as NQA-1 or ISO 9001
