We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lending Specialist to join a professional and supportive lending team. This role focuses exclusively on commercial lending and plays a key part in lending operations by reviewing documentation, ensuring regulatory compliance, and coordinating loan closings. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment, enjoy problem-solving, and have a passion for supporting a collaborative team. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Pay: $60,000 - $65,000 annually

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review commercial, agricultural, and consumer loan documentation
• Verify accuracy and completeness of loan files and ensure proper approvals
• Process and board new loans and renewals into the loan system
• Maintain loan records, process corrections, adjustments, and extensions
• Monitor loan exceptions and follow up with internal staff for missing items
• Coordinate with title companies, appraisers, and insurance agents to obtain required documentation
• Assist in releasing collateral and maintaining security records for paid loans
• Ensure compliance with all internal policies, procedures, and regulations
• Support general ledger reviews and other administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial lending or commercial loan administration required
• Demonstrated good tenure with previous employers
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and data accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; experience using loan documentation software (such as LaserPro) preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
