Materials Engineer
Location : Oak Ridge, TN
Reports To : VP of TRISO Manufacturing

FUNCTION
The Materials Engineer will play a key role in helping Standard Nuclear scale advanced manufacturing processes from lab-scale operations to a reliable production environment. This role involves a blend of hands-on process development, chemical processing, and engineering support to optimize production systems. The Materials Engineer will work closely with engineering, operations, and R&D teams to evaluate material properties, develop and refine processing methods, and support the design and implementation of production-scale systems. Success in this role requires strong technical problem-solving skills, a hands-on approach, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
