Bowser Chevrolet of Chippewa is seeking an experienced Service Advisor whose primary responsibilities will be to greet customers and obtain vehicle data. The ideal candidate will have sales experience as well as strong communication skills in order to effectively and clearly write the general nature of automotive needs, administer appropriate warranties, verify intended methods of payment while maintaining the highest level of customer service (CSI).
DUTIES
- Greet customers and clearly write the general nature of automotive needs.
- Notify customer of other repairs or maintenance identified by test drive and / or walk-around.
- Provide customer with estimate of repairs and anticipated time of completion.
- Verify method of payment.
- Maintain contact with technicians throughout the workday.
- Maintain the optimum CSI.
- Administer appropriate warranties.
- Test drive vehicles as necessary.
- Notify customers when repairs are completed.
- Deliver vehicle to customer and review work performed with customer.
- Follow all Bowser safety policies and procedures
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalentExcellent customer service skillsStrong communication skills - both written and verbalExperience in automobile dealership or independent repair facility.General knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations.ASE certification preferredProfessional appearanceValid drivers license in good standingAbility to lift and move objects weighing 10 - 25 lbs.Ability to drive cars and trucks (automatic & standard transmissions) preferredWHAT BOWSER OFFERS
