LocumJobsOnline is working with AAS Locum Tenens to find a qualified Orthopedic Surgery PA in Beaumont, Texas, 77707!

About The Position

Seeking a Locum

Tenens Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant  to assist the orthopedic trauma surgery team.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing acute orthopedic injuries in

a hospital or trauma setting and be confident working in collaboration with

orthopedic surgeons and other hospital staff.

Compensation :   $800 Per Shift

Responsibilities

Include :

First assist in the OR (if credentialed

and experienced)

Perform orthopedic consults in ED and

inpatient floors

Manage pre- and post-operative

orthopedic patients

Perform joint reductions, splinting, and

wound care

  • Order and interpret imaging and labs

Coordinate with trauma and surgical

teams

Requirements :

Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician

Assistant (PA)

  • Active Texas license and DEA
  • BLS / ACLS certification
  • Orthopedic and / or surgical first assist

    experience required

    Prior experience in a trauma or

    hospital-based orthopedic setting required

    Located in southeast
