Telemetry RN Job Details Location : Morgantown, WV 26505 (West Virginia healthcare jobs) Unit : 6 North – Medicine Unit (34 beds, general med-surg with telemetry) Assignment Length : 13 weeks (10 / 6 / 2025 – 1 / 5 / 2026) Shift : Night shift (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM), 3x12 hour shifts per week (36 hours / week guaranteed) Optional : 48-hour weeks available if desired Employment Type : Travel nursing assignment Openings : 2 Telemetry RN positions Estimated Weekly Salary : $1570 - $1680 Telemetry RN Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in West Virginia or compact state BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience (telemetry or med-surg nursing preferred) Strong communication, clinical, and teamwork skills Ability to adapt to changing unit needs and float to other units as needed Telemetry RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients on a general med-surg floor with telemetry monitoring Manage a patient ratio of 1 : 6, collaborating with RNs, LPNs, and Care Assistants Participate in bedside shift reports and team huddles at the start of each shift Work closely with charge nurses and clinical nurse coordinators to ensure optimal patient outcomes Float to other acute care units or assist with med-surg overflow as required Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital policies and procedures Apply now to join our healthcare team in Morgantown, WV, and take the next step in your travel nursing career!
