You Will Be Responsible For
- Developing and executing global medical strategies and tactical plans in alignment with the overarching vision for improving the lives of NF1 patients
- Acting as the lead medical subject matter expert within cross‑functional teams and at Global Product Teams (GPTs)
- Leading situational assessments and shaping global product strategies to support local execution
- Driving initiatives and programs to advance the continuum of care, with particular emphasis on supporting transitions from pediatric to adult care
- Fully understanding the competitive environment in the NF1 and rare tumor space to ensure our products are differentiated
- Providing medical leadership and expert review of Investigator Sponsored Research (ISR), scientific communications, internal training, and external medical education activities
- Cultivating and enhancing partnerships with key centers of excellence and KOLs, ensuring strong collaboration and scientific exchange
- Leading the development and execution of medical engagement strategies for KOLs and leading / participating in global advisory boards
- Supporting affiliates by ensuring alignment and pull through of the global medical TA strategy
- Adapting global strategy over time to address regional needs as necessary
You Will Need To Have
Direct people management experience or significant experience leading and influencing within a matrixed environment, ideally in an oncology or rare disease medical affairs settingA strong track record of cross‑functional collaborationDemonstrated ability to deliver results as both a team member and project leaderExperience managing, attracting, and developing medical or clinical talent, particularly in relevant rare disease fieldsAdaptability for dynamic, complex environments and effective navigation of changeA high standard of ethical conduct and integrityAbility to travel up to 25%Proficiency in communication, analysis, and collaboration in an office‑based settingThe duties of this role are generally conducted in an office environment.
