What does a Lead Drop and Count Clerk do?

• Physically collect and transport all table game and slot cash boxes to the Count Room in accordance with Internal Control and departmental regulatory drop procedures.
• Assist in training of personnel on proper performance expectations including but not limited to : proper cash handling protocols, equipment operation, regulatory requirements in accordance with the Compact, Internal Controls, departmental procedures and asset protection protocols and requirements.
• Accurately empty, count and record the cash and paperwork contents for all table games and slot machine drop boxes.
• Demonstrate the ability to efficiently operate all counting equipment and computer related functionality with a high degree of accuracy and accountability.
• Accurately verify and record cash and paperwork totals. In the event of an error, must possess the ability to accurately and effectively investigate the discrepancy and remedy.
