What does a Lead Drop and Count Clerk do?
- Physically collect and transport all table game and slot cash boxes to the Count Room in accordance with Internal Control and departmental regulatory drop procedures.
- Assist in training of personnel on proper performance expectations including but not limited to : proper cash handling protocols, equipment operation, regulatory requirements in accordance with the Compact, Internal Controls, departmental procedures and asset protection protocols and requirements.
- Accurately empty, count and record the cash and paperwork contents for all table games and slot machine drop boxes.
- Demonstrate the ability to efficiently operate all counting equipment and computer related functionality with a high degree of accuracy and accountability.
- Accurately verify and record cash and paperwork totals. In the event of an error, must possess the ability to accurately and effectively investigate the discrepancy and remedy.
To be successful as a Lead Drop and Count Clerk, you'll need :
Previous money handling experience with basic math skills.The ability to physically access and operate all required equipment on the casino floor and in the count room.The ability to travel between other Nation properties on a regular basis. (Travel reimbursement provided).The ability to stand / walk for long periods of time and lift up to 41 - 50 pounds.What we value :
