Position Overview
The Manufacturing Manager will be responsible for leading our CNC production and engineering teams to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective product. This role requires a strong background in manufacturing management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive continuous improvement across all areas of the plant floor.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day production operations, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity goals are met
- Manage and develop a team of supervisors and production staff
- Implement lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives
- Monitor production schedules, staffing, and resources to optimize efficiency
- Develop, manage and monitor departmental KPIs, and present to team at quarterly Management review
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and maintenance teams to resolve issues and improve processes
- Track and report key performance metrics, including output, downtime, and labor efficiency
- Support cost reduction initiatives and budget management for plant operations
Qualifications
Associate's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, or related field (preferred)10+ years of experience in manufacturing leadership, preferably within plastics, automotive, or related industriesStrong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodsExcellent problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skillsProven ability to manage cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExperience with Automation a plusExperience in thermoforming a plusExperience in the packaging industry a plusBenefits
