Apollo Electrical Services is an Orlando based electrical contracting firm that performs various electrical installations throughout the state of Florida. We are expanding with our Fire Services Division. Our experience extends to healthcare facilities, public schools, community centers, fire stations, maintenance facilities, restaurants, office buildings and churches.

About The Role

Must be an experienced Tech who can perform commercial, retail, and industrial installations. Ability to complete the fire system / alarm electrical installation per contracts / construction set of plans and per instruction from managers. Must have and maintain a clean driving record. Own, properly use, and maintain all standard trade tools. Excellent attendance and punctuality are a must. Exceptional skills in communication, team, and work ethic.

Job Duties

  • Install, repair, and maintain fire alarm systems, security systems and monitoring of all in accordance with applicable laws and codes
  • Jobs performed to plans and specs
  • Production of high-quality work in a timely manner
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and strong team skills as needed

Requirements

  • 5+ years of fire system installation & maintenance in Commercial or Industrial.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Advanced knowledge of fire alarms, security, monitoring, sound, and video systems in commercial and institutional projects
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Advance knowledge and demonstrable skills using all common equipment, installation guidelines, test requirements, methods, and verifications
  • Ability to be highly productive with quality work in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness / responsibility to maintain all work records and all other documentation related to completing assignments
  • Physical ability to move materials / operate tools and equipment; ability to climb ladders and stairs; must have correctable eyesight and good color vision; must be able to lift 50 lbs. unaided overhead; must be able to work effectively at heights up to 28 feet
