Petal High School DESCRIPTION : Positive Behavior Specialist
JOB SUMMARY : The job is supporting the members of school staff in various aspects ensuring that effective and efficient behavioral interventions and support systems are in place to support continuous academic progress of students identified as having social, emotional and / or behavioral concerns.
QUALIFICATIONS : This position requires a Masters Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Special Education, Social Work, or related fields. This position is for a licensed professional with training and experience in behavior management and positive behavioral interventions in the educational setting with a minimum of three years experience in clinical counseling or experience working with severe behavioral and emotional issues.
WORKING CONDITIONS : Must be able to work in a school setting / environment.
