About The Position
About this Position Position / Specialty : RRT / Pediatrics Shift : Will work 3x12 nights 7p-730a, holiday rotation Weekend REQ : Every other weekend Is on-call REQ? No Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Depends on experience Floating Req to Sister Facilities : No Preferred / Required : Years of experience REQ : 2 years First-timers accepted : Yes Certs REQ : RRT certification, BLS, PALS, NRP Certification / Licenses accepted : NBRC and SC RCP (South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider) Experience REQ : Pediatric, Neonate, and Infant experience Epic experience preferred Misc. Open to accommodating block schedule? Approval prior to assignment, but not guaranteed. Radius rule? Yes, 60 miles. Are locals accepted? Yes, on a case-by-case basis at 10% less than the posted bill rate Pending State License accepted : RRT SC license must be in hand at time of start RTO Restrictions : All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on manager / units needs. Guaranteed Hours : Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks Hospital Highlights Type of Facility : Teaching Hospital Magnet / Teaching / Level Trauma : Magnet, Teaching and Level 1 Trauma Total Staffed Beds : 865 Scrub Color : Caribbean Blue Charting : Epic Parking Cost : Nights and weekends cost only. Onetime payment of $20 for a parking pass. Hurricane Season
- Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem, please ensure travelers do not confirm a new or ext assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.
