Role Description
The Senior Manager of Dairy Customer Marketing & Reproductives serves as a leader within the segment as a component of the trifecta of leadership (Sales, Technical, Marketing) from Zoetis. Externally, the Senior Manager is the interface to the marketing structures of key customers. This Manager will be accountable for developing an annual operating plan (including quarterly targets) for reproductive products & value-added services. The target customer profile will be dairy producers that could benefit from marketing support specific to their operation.
He / she will be accountable for achieving the quarterly and yearly operating plan targets for the cattle reproductive portfolio which includes assisting in the development of and execution against key strategic initiatives. The Senior Manager will maintain a high level of interaction with relevant Zoetis functional areas such as Technical Services, Sales, Finance, and Marketing Agencies to ensure strategy and tactics were included into the comprehensive approach of cattle reproduction. In this position he / she will be responsible for managing the A&P assigned budget, ensuring proper resource allocation, and leading the development of content by working closely with Marketing Communications / Coordinators.
The Senior Manager is responsible for formulation of long-term marketing strategy and implementation to drive in-line and launch Zoetis brand growth in targeted accounts. Internally, they are responsible for development of and clearly communicating marketing strategy (branded and above brand) to colleagues in the field, development of and increasing utilization of marketing materials, amplifying messaging of core marketing strategies in targeted accounts and leading development of marketing resources (as needed) to meet brand and segment objectives. The incumbent will become the internal marketing expert on the dairy segment and work across the portfolio with other Marketing Managers and business unit leaders to leverage customer insights effectively. Additionally, they are responsible for elevating the overall effectiveness of marketing pull through among colleagues within the segment. The Senior Manager will maintain a high level of interaction with relevant Zoetis functional areas such as the field force, Sales Management, Marketing, Technical Services, Strategic Pricing, Finance, Demand Planning, Global Commercial Development and marketing agencies to ensure feedlot specific strategy and tactics were included into the comprehensive approach of the overall marketing efforts.
