About The Position

Job Title : Cath Lab Technologist

Profession : Cath Lab Technologist

Shift : 10H Days

Hours per Shift : 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM with call

Experience : Minimum of 2 years

License : Required

Certifications : ACLS, ARRT, BLS, Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)

Must-Have :

• Minimum of 2 years of procedural experience in the cath lab.
• Experience with sedation and Phase 1 recovery is a plus.
• Familiarity with ECG, IABP, and Impella insertion.
• Experience in Cath lab and electrophysiology (EP).

Description :

The position is for a Cath Lab Technologist focused on cardiac procedures.

The technologist will work in a combined unit with both catheterization and electrophysiology labs.

Two suites are available for procedures.

An average of 22 cases is conducted daily, which may include add-on cases.

Typical procedures involve right and left heart catheterizations with or without interventions.

Experience with structural heart cases, including TAVR and mitral clips, is essential.

Technologists are responsible for scrubbing and documenting procedures.

On-call duties are required, with an average of 10 days of call in a 6-week schedule.

Call response time is 30 minutes.

Technologists must have experience with EMR systems, specifically Epic and GE imaging equipment.

Teamwork and a willingness to work beyond scheduled hours to complete cases are essential for success in this role.
