- The Role
As a
- Pediatric APC
- , youll provide direct outpatient care while collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Youll deliver excellent pediatric care, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure a compassionate, family-centered experience.
This is a
- part-time role
- at our
- Castle Rock
- clinic, with shifts on evenings, weekends, and some holidays. Candidates must be available for weekends and at least one holiday shift per year.
Our Pediatric APC demonstrates a high level of commitment, skill, expertise, patient satisfaction, and initiative.
- What Youll Do
- Work at least
- 2 shifts per week
- , including at least
- 2 weekend shifts per month
- Perform pediatric history and physical exams for acute and chronic conditions
- Conduct sports, camp, and school physicals
- Develop treatment plans and provide follow-up care
- Communicate pertinent information with the patient's PCP when necessary
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses and care plans
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests
- Prescribe medications per Colorado law and practice protocols
- Complete documentation and ensure timely communication with PCPs
- Maintain patient confidentiality (HIPAA) and safety standards
- Stay current with pediatric best practices and continuing education
- Serve as a role model and mentor for staff and students
- Other duties as assigned
- Qualifications
- Education & Experience
- Bachelors degree required
- Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program
- At least
- 1,000 hours of direct pediatric patient care experience
- Licensure & Certifications
- Current Colorado NP or PA license
- NCCPA certification (for PAs)
- DEA license (preferred but not required)
- BLS, PALS, or ACLS certification

Job Type : Part-time
Pay : $54.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours : 5 15 per week
