Seeking a regional director for field operations to manage and develop a large contract surety book of business, including Contract Bonds, Bid Bonds, Performance Bonds, Payment Bonds, and Maintenance Bonds.

• Analyze bonds to decide which risks are acceptable.
• Develop growth and profitability plans, including cross-selling strategies for all surety lines.
• Conduct meetings with agents and contractors to develop and maintain close relationships.
• Appoint new agency relationships that have a core focus on surety development.
• Work with agencies to identify opportunities and write new accounts.
• Approve bonds and programs within assigned authority.
• Evaluate and interpret bonds, contracts, credit reports, and loan agreements.
• Recommend underwriting decision on bonds or accounts exceeding authority.
• Perform analysis and recording activity in underwriting and administrative tools and systems.
