Advantra is partnering with a Series A CPG SaaS startup in New York to hire a Deductions Specialist to help brands optimize accounting and deductions workflows.
About the role :
You will support accounting and deduction teams, translate user pain into product improvements, and ensure customer success with the platform.
Responsibilities :
- Support accounting and deduction teams during implementation to ensure successful onboarding.
- Help users troubleshoot challenges and collect feedback to improve the product.
- Translate user pain points into actionable software improvements.
- Build and maintain documentation for retailer and distributor deduction processes.
- Document cash application and deductions management workflows within the product.
- Partner with the sales team during calls and customer interactions.
Core requirements :
3+ years of deductions experience at a brand with $20M+ in sales.Accounting degree or equivalent experience as a staff accountant.Strong understanding of cash application and deduction processes.Ability to document complex workflows clearly.Experience collaborating with sales or customer success teams.Strong communication and problem-solving skills.Detail-oriented and organized.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.Nice to have :
Experience with SaaS or accounting automation tools.Knowledge of CPG industry workflows.Familiarity with ERP or financial systems.Experience in training or supporting users.Startup experience in a fast-growing environment.How to apply :
