Overview
We are seeking dedicated and flexible On-Call Substitute Teachers to support our 11 Bay Area Infant and Preschool locations. This role provides coverage on an as-needed basis, stepping in to support classrooms, teachers, and students whenever additional help is required.
Schedule : On-call. Full-day and part-day shifts vary depending on coverage needs.
This position is a great opportunity for experienced Early Childhood Education (ECE) professionals who enjoy variety, adaptability, and working with different age groups. As a substitute, you\'ll play an important role in maintaining the consistency and quality of care and education across our programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide classroom coverage at multiple Infant and Preschool sites as needed.
- Adapt quickly to different classrooms, age groups, and teaching styles (infants through pre-kindergarten).
- Support the implementation of lesson plans and activities that align with our educational philosophy.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children.
- Collaborate with teachers and site staff to maintain smooth operations and quality care.
- Communicate appropriately with staff and, when needed, with families regarding children\'s progress and daily activities.
- Maintain accurate records related to attendance and child development.
- Be reliable, flexible, and available to accept both short-term and, when possible, longer-term substitute assignments.
Compensation
$18-$28 / hr, depending on experience, education, and assignment requirements.
