Global Director Environmental Health Safety and Quality

The Global Director of SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality) position at the client is a highly visible role with a promising future growth trajectory. The client is a producer with over $1B in revenue, focusing on selling to various markets. The Global Director will be responsible for leading manufacturing quality initiatives and standards across 10 plants globally, with a strong emphasis on the Americas region. Additionally, they will oversee Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) for the entire enterprise, ensuring compliance with regulations and organizational goals.

Reporting to the EVP, the Global Director will lead a lean but expanding team and work closely with Operations Leaders to drive lean and six sigma practices. Responsibilities include representing the Voice of Customer regarding quality standards, establishing and reporting KPIs, managing operational decisions, and ensuring compliance with local and international regulations. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field, 15+ years of experience in manufacturing, quality, safety, environmental, and health, and 5 years of management experience in leading multi-plant HSEQ. Fluency in English is required, with Spanish being a plus, along with experience in the chemical industry or related field.
