Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Adult Stepdown

\n\n

Job Details : \n

  • Work 12-hour night shifts from 6 : 45 PM to 7 : 15 AM

    • \n

  • Scheduled 36 hours per week following first week of orientation

    • \n

  • No guarantee of hours

    • \n

  • Flex RN position floating between various medical and surgical units

    • \n

  • Float to Medical Unit, Laulima Unit, and Cardiovascular Unit on rare occasions

    • \n

  • Nurse to patient ratios : Medical 1 : 6 for days and evenings, 1 : 8 for nights; Laulima 1 : 6; Cardiovascular 1 : 4

    • \n

  • Ratios may vary due to unexpected leaves

    • \n

  • 2-10 years of nursing experience required

    • \n

  • Must have active Hawaii nursing license by start of assignment

    • \n

  • Required certifications : BLS, ACLS preferred

    • \n

  • Preferred certifications : PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, ENPC

    • \n

  • Work with Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vac, and chest tubes

    • \n

  • Professional nursing attire required - clean scrubs

    • \n

  • Unit-specific orientation and training program provided

    • \n

  • Medical and religious exemption requests will not be accepted in lieu of documented proof of immunity
