Reports To : Dining Room Manager & GeneralManager
General Purpose : The restaurant Host is the first employee tointeract with arriving guests as they enter the restaurant. It isthe job of the Host to greet arriving guests welcome them into theestablishment and seat them. The guests receive their firstimpression of the restaurant in their exchange with theHost.
SpecificResponsibilities :
- Understandshe / she is the first impression of guests whether at the door or onthe phone and behaves in accordance with high standards set byrestaurant reputation.
- Maintains a positivefriendly attitude with coworkers and guests at alltime.
- Knows at least 3 appetizers 3 entrees and3 desserts and can explain them to aguest / caller.
- Reports to work on time and readyto work scheduled shift.
- Maintains a cleanorderly appearance of the restaurant servicearea.
- Fills in for multiple positions asneeded.
- Delivers a prompt accurate report ofall income received during shiftsworked.
