Candidates must escalate patient issues correctly and efficiently.
Description :
This is a contract position in the Shock Trauma Intensive Care Unit.
The unit has a total of 10 beds, with a patient ratio of 1 : 2 or 1 : 1.
The staffing includes 1 charge nurse and 5 RNs during the day shift and 1 charge nurse and 5 RNs during the night shift.
Typical procedures performed in the unit include EVDs, arterial lines, central lines, and chest tube insertion.
Candidates with experience in Trauma ICU and Surgical ICU will be preferred.
The environment requires teamwork and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Dress code includes navy blue scrubs.
Ideal candidates will have strong skills in critical care nursing and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
