Equipment Operator

An Equipment Operator will operate various heavy machinery for construction projects.

Responsibilities :

• Operates construction, excavation, hauling, and maintenance equipment , including backhoes, front-end loaders, bulldozers, excavators, or grade tractors.
• Prepares construction sites for building, demolition, or excavation.
• Uses excavating machinery to dig holes and trenches.
• Transports tools and other construction equipment to and from construction sites.
• Uses equipment to prepare job site.
• Operates machinery used to build roads and bridges.
• Perform daily inspection of equipment.
• Performs routine maintenance and repairs.
• Work harmoniously, cooperatively, and courteously with others at all times .
• Follow directions and instructions from supervisors.
• Perform various tasks and duties that may often change as the work conditions require.
• Work within defined standards of accuracy.
• Work in various weather conditions, including temperatures over 85 and below 40 degrees.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
