Maintenance specialists play a vital role in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and longevity of diesel-powered assets.
As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines across various vehicles and equipment. This position demands expertise and requires ASE certifications, which can be obtained through our certification program.
Key responsibilities include conducting diagnostic tests to identify issues, performing routine maintenance tasks, collaborating with team members, and completing preventative maintenance (PMs), safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections.
You will also lead diagnostic tests, troubleshoot complex issues, and repair diesel engines, including overhauling and rebuilding components.
Additionally, you will provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians, assisting them in developing their skills and knowledge. To succeed in this role, you must have 3 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic and possess a Mechanics Tool Set.
Work will be performed in a combination of indoor and outdoor environments, subject to DOT drug testing and physical examination if applicable.
