Business & Administrative Support is responsible for assisting general business operations by providing an array of administrative and data support activities.
Administration is responsible for performing a variety of administrative activities in support of their assigned work team. May assist executives in budget preparation, record maintenance, and generating reports regarding operations, personnel changes, etc. Uses company software to compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence and presentations. May design processes to enhance work flow. Serves as administrative liaison with others within and outside the company regarding administrative issues.
The Assistant II, Administration is responsible for supporting distribution center activities. The Assistant II, Administration maintains a strong understanding of all relevant Cardinal Health operations and frequently represents the company internally and externally via written and spoken communications. The Assistant II, Administration displays the ability to manage multiple tasks at time.
Perform a variety of general administration tasks in addition to internal and external communication, visitor hosting, meeting room prep, break room supplies etc.
Follow established procedures to support site purchases, invoicing, record maintenance, and reporting
Support operations in standard tasks as capacity permits
Engaged with site security, regulatory, training, and employee activities
Coordinate with site leadership and staff regarding meetings and events
1-3 years of experience preferred
Good verbal, written and computer skills
Must be able to work in Microsoft applications (excel, word, PowerPoint)
Computer literacy
High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Team player – ability to work independently
Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete standard tasks
Works on routine assignments that require basic problem resolution
