Job descriptionConduct patient interviews and intake; prepare patients for triage and provider visits Obtain and document vital signs; identify and report abnormal results Collect specimens and perform diagnostic point-of-care testing Administer immunizations and medications in accordance with established safety and infection control standards Document all care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) Provide patient and family education, documenting teaching and follow-up Participate in emergency events and ensure compliance with safety protocols Maintain and ensure proper function of clinical equipment Support a positive patient experience through professional communication and compassionate care 1+ year of Clinical experience Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program (RN or LPN). Current NYS Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and / or licensed Registered Nurse (RN) BLS certification Experience with vital signs monitoring, specimen collection, and point-of-care testing Working knowledge of EMR documentation 3+ years of experience in a Pediatric and / or Primary Care role / setting Familiarity with Ambulatory Care workflows
