Job Details

Responsibilities :

As a Consulting Staff Accountant, your key responsibilities will include :

1. Preparing asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.

2. Documenting financial transactions by entering account information.

3. Recommending financial actions by analyzing accounting options.

4. Summarizing current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.

5. Substantiating financial transactions by auditing documents.

6. Maintaining accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.

7. Guiding clients on financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.

8. Preparing special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.

9. Maintaining customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.

10. Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate for our Consulting Staff Accountant position must have the following qualifications :

1. Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.

2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.

3. Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

4. CPA or CMA certification is a plus.

5. Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

7. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

10. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel.
