As a certified nursing assistant, you’ll be the main caregiver for our patients with varied levels of mobility who require help with daily living activities like going to the restroom, getting dressed, eating regular meals, and changing bedpans. - Record patient vital signs including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and blood oxygen level
- Communicate information with patient care providers and other nursing staff members to facilitate patient care
- Sanitize and clean patient’s room by rotating sheets, bedpans, and performing general room cleaning
- Assist patients with regular exercise as needed to maintain physical health and mobility level
- Give patient support with basic care daily living activities bathing, getting dressed, going to the restroom, eating regular meals, and taking proper medication dosages Qualifications :
- A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required for this position
- Excellent communication skills that focus on creating and maintaining positive relationships between patient and families
- Must have completed the state-approved CNA training program and received CNA certification from a community college, vocational school, or medical facility
- The ability to administer catheters and enemas is desired, but not required
- Previous experience handling bedridden patients with age-related diseases such as Alzheimer's and Dementia preferred Compensation : $39,500
