This medical center is part of the Pecos Valley healthcare network, providing essential orthopedic services to the Carlsbad community and surrounding areas. The facility features a 3-bed department and operates as a Level 3 trauma center with Level 3 pediatrics capabilities.

Opportunity :

Board Certified - Orthopaedic Surgery

Job Details :

• Provide comprehensive orthopedic surgical care with approximately 3 patient encounters per shift
• Perform arthroscopic procedures as needed
• Conduct total joint replacements including hip, knee, and other joints
• Handle joint revisions and repairs for shoulder, hip, knee, and other joints
• Provide specialized care in hand surgery and tendon release / repair
• Perform peripheral nerve surgeries when required
• Manage spinal procedures with and without instrumentation (cervical, thoracic, and lumbar)
• Conduct percutaneous disc surgeries as needed
• Must maintain active New Mexico medical license or hold IMLC
• Board certification required with ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Expected credentialing timeframe is approximately 30 days
• Position available from January 1, 2026 ongoing

Compensation :

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
