Senior Accounting Analyst
Location : Kern County, CA (on-site)
Industry : Agriculture
Salary : $95,000 - $120,000 (DOE)
A leading ag company in Kern County is seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst to join their accounting team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to one of the most respected names in California agriculture and support both operational and financial initiatives within a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities :
- Support month-end close activities, including journal entries, allocations, and account reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze crop inventory, cost rates, and variance reports
- Collaborate closely with the FP&A team on forecasting, budgeting, and reporting for vegetable operations
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data and postings
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Partner cross-functionally to improve processes, data accuracy, and financial transparency
- Handle ad hoc analysis and special projects as assigned
