HiFyve is hiring a Maintenance Technician in the manufacturing industry!

Salary : $21-$32 / hr

Shift : Day Shift 10 : 45am-7 : 15pm (Some flexibility required)

Location : Milwaukee, WI

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance on building systems and equipment, including conveyors, motors, and gearboxes.
  • Repair plumbing issues, such as leaks and blockages, and address damaged electrical wiring to ensure safety.
  • Identify and fix potential safety hazards to prevent injuries.
  • Implement preventative measures to reduce the risk of future issues and ensure all machinery is reliable.
  • Work on simple motor controls and gearing, and troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
  • Perform all duties with a strong understanding of verbal and written instructions.
  • Perform in the moment troubleshooting to quickly resolve issues

Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED

    • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Versatile technician with a broad skill set, capable of learning new tasks quickly.
  • Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for a variety of tasks.
  • Experience with basic motor controls and gearing.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work a flexible schedule until 7 : 30 PM.
  • Willing to work on electrical wiring for 3-phase 480V systems.
