Cuivre River Electric Cooperative (CREC) is looking for a bilingual (English / Spanish) Member Support Representative (MSR I) who is passionate about helping others and thrives in a fast-paced, member-facing role. As part of our frontline support team, you will assist members in person, by phone, and through electronic communication-making a real impact on the service experience for all CREC members.
Key Responsibilities
Provide professional, accurate, and friendly support for billing questions, payment processing, deposits, reconnects / disconnects, and member accounts
Communicate CREC policies, programs, and services effectively in both English and Spanish
Assist with setting up online accounts, Auto Pay, energy assistance inquiries, and mobile app support
Promote cooperative initiatives like Operation Round Up, MyPower, and scholarship programs
Handle high bill inquiries, troubleshoot usage patterns, and escalate issues appropriately
Process payments (cash, check, card) through various channels including front counter and drive-thru
Accurately maintain member data and complete member requests
Collaborate with coworkers to support member needs and contribute to a positive team culture
Qualifications
Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish required (verbal and written)
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of one year of related experience; office or cashier experience preferred
Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to remain calm under pressure
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to learn Cooperative-specific software systems
Must be comfortable sitting for extended periods and working on a computer; occasional lifting up to 20 lbs
