Sales Representative
C & B Operations, LLC is a progressive company that has grown over 35 years to include thirty-six John Deere dealerships in six states. Currently, they have an opening for a Sales Representative at its location in Spencer, IA. A Sales Rep maintains sales management information for customers, maintains company vehicles and equipment, conducts new equipment demonstrations, monitors trends in customer's business activities and provides communication to management, maintains current knowledge of used equipment values and has the ability to evaluate equipment properly for trading purposes, maintains knowledge of financing for the purchase of new and used goods, and attends applicable sales training events / seminars.
Responsibilities :
- Developing relationships and expanding customer pipelines
- Implementing strategies to increase sales and profit by prospecting within the defined territory
- Creating customer specific proposals based on detailed needs analysis
- Conducting market research to produce competitive comparisons
- Developing and maintaining expertise on industry trends and best practices
- Maintaining sales management information for all customers in the assigned territory
- Maintaining assigned company vehicles and equipment
- Conducting new equipment field demonstrations
- Monitoring trends in customer's business activities and providing timely communication to management
- Maintaining current knowledge of used equipment values and having the ability to evaluate equipment properly for trading purposes
- Maintaining current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods
- Attending applicable sales training events / seminars
Qualifications :
Qualified candidates must have at least 3 years prior outside sales experienceExperience developing and winning new business in a highly competitive environmentSelf-driven to actively prospect, cultivate and close new business opportunities using effective questioning skills to tailor solution benefits to meet prospect needsExceptional communication and sales presentation skillsRelates well to all kinds of people and easily builds trusting relationshipsUnwavering integrity and strong work ethicWillingness to travel across the assigned sales territory to grow business relationshipsProficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office productsValid driver's license and a safe driving recordAbility to meet physical demands and duration of physical exertion generally required to perform tasks in support of all job functions, for example - sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pullingPrevious sales knowledge and experience with agricultural equipment and outdoor power equipment strongly preferredHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredBenefits :
