Position responsibilities :

  • Assist with tax research, compliance, and preparation
  • Perform research into and analyze tax returns
  • Prepare tax computations, forms, and schedules
  • Enumerate and assess tax payments and costs and
  • Work closely with the management team to implement tax strategies

Position essential job functions :

  • Conduct research on tax issues
  • Research and evaluate tax issues and their impact on the organization
  • Prepare reports recommending tax policy changes
  • Explain tax regulations to clients
  • Provide guidance and counsel on tax-related matters
  • Answer technical questions regarding tax laws
  • Provide tax research services
  • Recommend tax-related policy changes
  • Understand the tax law and objectives of clients
  • Create and maintain client records
  • Complete tax-related reporting requirements
  • Perform audits of tax accounts
  • Resolve tax issues
  • Provide up-to-date client information

    • Position skills :

  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred in relevant field
  • Graduate degree (Master’s or Doctorate) in Taxation or relevant field MAJOR plus
  • 3+ years of tax experience
  • Experience and knowledge of income tax regulations for multi-state operations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Excellent time management
