About the role :
Join us in bringing more books into kids’ homes. As a Book Blast Outreach Specialist , you’ll connect with K–6 schools to introduce the Book Blast program, coordinate brief Zoom presentations for principals and school leaders, and ensure students nationwide can build home libraries. This is a high-quality outreach role where your success is measured by scheduling attended presentations with the right decision-makers.
Requirements : What you’ll do
Call, email, and SMS school contacts to introduce Book Blast and schedule presentations.Confirm attendance, send calendar invites, and handle reschedules with speed and care.Encourage principal participation and ensure the right stakeholders are in the room.Log activities, notes, and outcomes in HubSpot with complete and timely data.Follow compliant outreach practices that respect school policies and student privacy.Share insights from conversations to improve messaging and lists.How success is measured
Scheduled presentations per week and attended presentations per week.Show rate and principal-present rate for attended presentations.Agreements within 30 days of presentation.Data quality and process compliance in HubSpot.What you bring
1+ year of phone-based outreach or inside sales experience with consistent activity.Clear, warm communication and active listening skills.Strong note-taking, organization, and follow-through.Comfort using CRM tools such as HubSpot and calendar tools like Zoom.Coachable mindset with openness to call reviews and feedback.Nice to have
Experience calling into K-12 schools.Familiarity with objection handling in busy school environments.Work setup
Remote role with calling hours aligned to school time blocks in the assigned region.Daily standup with the team, weekly 1 : 1 coaching, and regular call reviews.Company provides equipment and platform access.Training and onboarding
Structured two-week ramp with product knowledge, objection handling, and tool setup.Clear playbooks, talk tracks, and booking standards.Shadow calls and QA calibration to align on quality and tone.
