Intensive Care Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Experience :

• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience within the past 4 years.
• Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

Previous Employment Requirements : Candidates may not have been directly employed (full time, part time, or PRN) by any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and / or Dignity within the past year. Candidates who were employed PRN through outside firms will be considered.

Required Skills / Experience : must be able to read and interpret EKG strips.

Required Credentials : Prior to acceptance, the dys exam through relias is required along with acceptance. Must be completed within 24-48 hrs. It’s pass or fail and they get 2 attempts (test a should be assigned first, test b should be assigned for the retake). A screenshot showing the number of attempts is required. Procedures / Diagnostics / Treatments Performed on Unit :

Types of Patients on Unit : Primarily medical ICU common diagnoses.

Special Requests : An interview may not be available prior to offer.

Shift & Scheduling : Every other weekend, Holidays : Rotate in with core staff

Floating Requirements : Float between icu & er - they need experience in both areas to be considered, All other Sacramento facilities. Mid-shift float to another facility is rare, but can happen.

Facility holidays : 01 / 01 / 2025, 11 / 27 / 2025, 12 / 25 / 2025. Number of holidays allowed off : 1. Start assignment restriction : 14 days

1 reference from last 12 months (Manager / Supervisor reference type) - required for submission

1 reference from last 3 years (Charge / Lead reference type) - required for submission

Driver’s license required for submission
