Senior Registered Ultrasonographer – Diagnostic Imaging
We are seeking a Senior Registered Ultrasonographer to join our Diagnostic Imaging team. This role handles day-to-day ultrasound operations, performing both general and vascular diagnostic sonograms with minimal supervision. The position provides care for neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients while ensuring high-quality imaging services.
The Senior Ultrasonographer works closely with patients, radiologists, providers, and other clinical staff, supporting department goals and assisting the Core Leader as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Perform general and vascular ultrasound exams and procedures
Provide accurate assessments and diagnostic exams for patients across all age groups
Communicate effectively with patients, coworkers, and medical staff
Support daily ultrasound operations and department objectives
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an ultrasound program accredited by JRCRTE or equivalent education / experience
National Registered Technologist – Sonography or National Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (at hire)
BLS certification (American Heart Association) at hire
Minimum 3 years of ultrasound experience
Preferred Qualifications
5 years of ultrasound experience
