BASIC FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the direction of the Director of Health Department, individual plans, coordinates and manages the budget, accounting and finance operations and services in a manner consistent with the policies and procedures established for the Health Department by the Board of Health; individual is responsible for the supervision of assigned staff.

• Supervision is received from the Director of Health Department.

Duties and Responsibilities

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assisting with interviewing, hiring, and training employees; ensuring completion of mandatory education requirements; planning, assigning, and directing work; job performance evaluations; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree or Associate Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field from an accredited college or university plus minimum of two years of job related experience with accounting, finance and budget functions with government or non-profit organization, or;
