Correctional Mental Health Counselor - Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) / Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) | Colorado Travel or Local

Pay : $2,700–$2,900 / week | 40 hrs / week | Day Shifts (Mon–Fri)

Locations : Canon City

Pueblo
Sterling
Buena Vista

Contract : 13 Weeks | Option to Extend

Correctional Mental Health Counselor - LCSW / LPC Job Details :

Provide individual and group counseling in correctional or forensic settings.

Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop treatment plans.

Document progress and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Support patients with substance use, trauma, and co-occurring disorders.

Apply DSM-V diagnostic criteria to guide evidence-based treatment.

Correctional Mental Health Counselor - LCSW / LPC Qualifications :

Active CO License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker ( LCSW ) OR Licensed Professional Counselor ( LPC ).

2 Years of mental health experience; corrections, forensics, and / or drug and addiction counseling experience preferred.

Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
