Retail Training Specialist

A Retail Training Specialist is responsible for delivering training programs to field merchandisers to ensure consistent implementation of merchandising standards, product knowledge, and brand representation across designated territories. This role involves conducting hands-on training and providing ongoing support to enhance the performance and productivity of field managers.

Responsibilities include :

• Delivering comprehensive training programs and materials for field merchandisers, including manuals, presentations, and visual aids.
• Traveling up to 75 miles within assigned territory.
• Conducting on-site and virtual training sessions to educate field merchandisers on standards, product features, and promotional campaigns.
• Training field merchandisers on product placement, signage, and display techniques to maximize visual impact and sales.
• Providing hands-on coaching and feedback during store visits to reinforce training concepts and address performance gaps.
• Collaborating with field managers to identify training needs and prioritize skill development areas.
• Monitoring and evaluating training effectiveness through metrics, observations, and feedback.
• Updating training materials based on product changes, guidelines, and industry trends.
• Supporting new product launches and store resets with timely training sessions and resources.
• Serving as a subject matter expert on merchandising best practices, trends, and competitor activities.
• Fostering a positive learning environment and culture of continuous improvement among field merchandisers.
• Covering open territories executing client-specific work.
