Job descriptionDiagnose and repair automotive vehicles Perform routine vehicle tune-ups and maintenance Provide labor and time estimates for automotive repairs Inspect and test vehicles for necessary adjustments Help with parts ordering, pricing & returns The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time. AAMCO Transmission & Total Car Care in St Matthews is currently seeking an Automotive Technician to become an integral part of our leadership team!
At AAMCO we are mastering the craft of modern automotive repair to become the best technicians in the industry. Our dynamic team in St. Matthews provides hands-on training opportunities, cutting-edge diagnostic tools, and real opportunities for growth and career advancement. For over 60 years AAMCO has proudly been the industry leaders in transmission repair. If you’re passionate about cars, learning, detail-orientated, and take pride in helping people drive safely in reliable cars because of the excellent service we provide, there’s a place here at AAMCO St. Matthews for you.
Here is what we're looking for.
- Motivated hands-on technician with a instinct for problem solving
- High energy and enthusiastic, passionate about cars
- Commitment to quality and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills both with customers and your team
- ASE certification or willingness to obtain it (We can help you get there!)
- Diagnostic skills
- Computer Reflashing experience
- Engine repair experience
- Transmission diagnostics, removal & installation is a plus!
- Performs a full range of skilled automotive repair work, such as minor tune-ups, suspension repair, electrical system servicing, engine repair, transmission service & repairs.
- Knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment
- Ability to prioritize, execute, and deliver vehicle repairs in a timely manner
Transmission rebuilding experience is not necessary, however is a plus!
