Sr. HVAC Technician

HVAC / R Service Technician - $125K range DOE – 2K sign on Bonus

The ideal candidate will have mid-to-high-level expertise in HVAC systems, with a strong focus on chiller systems. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a full-service mechanical contractor focusing on commercial, industrial and institutional customers where you will play a critical role in maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing various HVAC systems.

Chiller Mechanic HVACR Technician duties and responsibilities :

• Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on various HVAC systems, with a focus on large-scale chiller systems.
• Install, maintain, and service HVAC equipment in commercial settings.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents to effectively complete work orders.
• Diagnose and resolve operational issues in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
• Provide recommendations for equipment replacements, upgrades, and efficiency improvements.
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations.
• Maintain records of repairs, maintenance, and installations through detailed reports.
• Collaborate with team members and provide mentorship or guidance to junior technicians when needed.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency service calls.
• Journeyman-level HVAC technician with 5+ years' experience
• 5+ years hands-on chiller experience, including troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance preferred – willing to train
• Experience with Hydronic / steam boilers
• Strong understanding of HVAC principles, electrical systems, and refrigeration cycles.
