Job description

Building Maintenance And Grounds - Physical Plant

The Physical Plant Department is looking for students to work in the building maintenance and grounds (landscape) departments.

Building Maintenance Duties :

  • Painting
  • Carpentry
  • Basic electrical
  • Basic air conditioning
  • Other assigned tasks

Grounds (landscape) Duties :

  • Clearing sidewalks and driveways of debris
  • Basic plant care (trimming, fertilizing)
  • Weeding
  • Mulching

    • Required Skills :

  • Must have a current driver's license
  • Lift a minimum of 25lbs
  • Extended period of time walking and physical activity

    • Preferred work shift : Part-Time Morning 8 am to 12 pm (noon) Monday Friday

    Preferred work shift : Part-Time Afternoon 12 : 30 pm to 4 : 30 pm Monday Thursday, and Friday 12 : 30 pm-3 : 30 pm

    Other work shifts may be considered however dependent upon department needs

    Wage Range : $16.50-17.30 / hr
