Patient Services Representative

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is currently looking to hire for a Patient Services Representative role for their client in Tarpon Springs, FL location. Position Summary

The Patient Services Representative (PSR) plays a vital role in creating a positive first impression for patients and visitors at WellMed at Tarpon Springs. This position is responsible for greeting patients, managing the front desk, responding to incoming calls, scheduling appointments, and providing general administrative and clerical support. The PSR ensures an efficient and welcoming environment that supports quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide general administrative and clerical support, including answering and directing calls in a courteous and timely manner.
• Greet patients, members, and visitors as they arrive and ensure a positive front-desk experience.
• Register new patients, verify demographic and insurance information, and schedule appointments.
• Coordinate patient transportation as needed with external transportation companies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception and waiting areas.
• Receive, sort, and distribute mail and deliveries.
• Direct patients and visitors to appropriate destinations within the clinic.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and organizational policies.
• Support clinic operations and perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required : 13 years of experience in a customer service, administrative, or healthcare setting. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel).
