Description
The Payroll and Compensation Specialist manages Wheaton Academy's payroll and compensation activities. The Specialist works cooperatively with the Director of Human Resources and the Business Office to support the school's operations in a God-honoring manner. The Specialist maintains accurate and complete records, prepares semi-monthly payroll and all related reporting, and assists with supporting the Human Resources and Business Departments in a way that carries out Wheaton Academy's mission. This position is non-exempt, 25-28 hours per week, 12 months per year.

The ideal candidate works independently and handles confidential information appropriately. This person is a self-starter, possesses a strong work ethic, is energized by problem solving, and has impressive understanding of Microsoft Systems including Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, Co-Pilot, and PowerPoint. A strong business and financial acumen is a must.
